Shipping Policies

General Shipping Information
SunWindFire.com uses several distribution centers,therefore multiple-purchase items may be shipped in different boxes on different days. We will not charge extra for this type of shipping.

Hazardous, regulated and large or heavy items must be shipped by ground. (“Next Day” and” Two Day” delivery are not available for those items requiring ground shipment.) Unless the customer pays for “Lift Gate” service, where the shipping company will unload the item for you, it becomes the responsibility of the purchaser to offload the items ordered by freight. Items with shipping restrictions will be identified when order is placed.

Please inspect all packages upon delivery. Any damages or shortages MUST be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. Notify the carrier and SunWindFire.com immediately and we will assist you as fully as we can. Please retain a signed copy of the bill of lading for your records.

Although we try to accurately calculate shipping costs, it may not always be possible to do so. Following receipt of the order, we have the right to inform the customer of any additional shipping or handling charges required to get the purchased product to you. You have the right at that time to either modify or cancel the order. If you cancel the order before it is shipped, you will be refunded the full amount on the account for the card used at time of purchase.

Where Orders Can Be Shipped
SunWindFire.com will ship anywhere within the lower 48 states. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are unable to ship to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. Territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or anywhere outside the United States.

Shipping/Order Confirmations
You will receive an Order Confirmation once we have received your order. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation when your order has been shipped. (If multiple packages are sent, you will receive more than one shipment confirmation.) Please retain these confirmations for your records.

Estimated Shipping Times
Please Note: During holidays and weekends, Purchase Orders received will not be processed for 2 business days.(*See our hours under “Contact Information”)

We will notify you if item(s) ordered are Out-of-Stock. You may contact us directly if you need to ensure that your item(s) will be available for shipment within your time constraints.

Special Unloading Requirements
Freight trucks must be able to access the place of delivery. Truck freight companies do NOT require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional “Lift Gate” fee will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise. Lift gate service simply means that the freight is lowered to the ground. It is the customer’s responsibility to move the product after it has been lowered to the ground.

Return Policies

Note - SunWindFire.com deals only with U.S. currency.

General Information
Only items purchased on our site, SunWindFire.com may be returned.  All regular returns must be done within 30 days of purchase. In order to qualify for a refund, the following criteria must be met:

  • Packages must be sent back using companies(FedEx, UPS) that have traceable resources. Please do not use USPS!
  • Item(s) purchased must be in resalable condition
  • Item(s) purchased cannot have been installed
  • Purchased product must be free of scratches and/or defects
  • Purchaser must use the original packaging in which the item was shipped
  • Writing or labels are not allowed on the inner packaging for the item
  • All item(s) must be returned with the assigned Return Authorization Number (RGA). Any item returned without the RGA may delay credit.
  • IMPORTANT: Any item marked clearance may not be eligible for return unless it is defective.  Please note that in some cases, defective clearance items may not qualify for replacement if it is no longer in stock.

SunWindFire.com offers pre-paid labels (PPLs) on all general returns. Please note:The cost to ship the item back to us by PPL will be deducted from the credit the customer receives once the item has been returned. Contact us by toll-free to get your request your Pre-paid label and get your return started.

Defective or Incorrect Orders
At SunWindFire.com, we strive to ensure that all our products show-up at your door undamaged and in working order. Only items purchased from SunWindFire.com can qualify for “defective returns and refunds”. All defective returns must be set up within 30 days from placing the order. We will not charge restocking fees on defective returns. There will be no re-stocking fee if the wrong order has been shipped.

SunWindFire.com is not responsible for any labor or installation cost related to items purchased from us. We are also not responsible for any lost or damaged items during shipment. If any items are lost or damaged during transport, you must file a “lost/damaged claim” with the respective freight handler.

We will accept returns of your purchased item(s) 30 days from when you place your order. Re-stocking fees may apply.

Special Items
At SunWindFire.com we deal with a wide variety of products. If there is a certain item that you do not see online feel free to contact us. Please be aware that some special order items are non-refundable. Special items that are damaged or defective may be excluded from the non-refundable policy, and may be refunded in full or be replaced if still available.

Refund Information
We will notify you of your refund by email once we have received and processed the returned item. Please allow 14-21 days for processing. We will try to process the return as quickly as possible.  PLEASE NOTE: Refunds will be credited to the credit card used for the payment only. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping costs will only be refunded if the item is being returned is a result of our error.

Cancellation Policies

You may cancel item(s) that have not been shipped yet. Please contact us immediately to cancel the order. Please note: once an item has shipped, it cannot be canceled. At that point, you will have to process a standard return. (Please refer to the Return Policy.)
